Tag 5 - Wandertag

Der Tag begann mit Sonnenschein. Perfekt! Geht doch. Eigentlich wollte ich noch einmal das kurze Stück Richtung Albulapass fahren und den Tag entspannt an einem im Vorbeifahren entdeckten Bergsee verbringen. Doch dann fiel mir das Hinweisschild ein: 07.09. Kraftfahrzeugfreier Sonntag von 8 bis 17 Uhr. Toll, mit den Öffis (Rhätische Bahn) hinfahren und unter die zahllosen Radler aller Stillrichtungen und Wanderer mischen. Nein, nicht mein Fall. Also Alternativplan: Vor Ort die Gegend erkunden. Biken stand für heute nach den zahlreichen Kilometern und vor Allem Stunden im Sattel ohnehin nicht im Vordergrund. Zuerst ging es eine Runde um den Heidsee. Herrlich in der Morgensonne. Danach wollte ich am Berg zurück zur JH. Dabei entdeckte ich die Wanderwegweiser zum Pic Scalottas (2323). Also dann noch das Stück zur Bergspitze hoch. Immerhin 839 m Höhenunterschied (1484 bis 2323, den man auch mit einer Seilbahn überwinden kann), was mir aber erst hinterher bewusst wurde. Oben angekommen, hatte ich mir ein Weißbier verdient . Elektrolyte und Vitamine auffüllen. Zu Essen hatte ich selbst dabei. Es fehlte nur ein ruhiges Plätzchen, denn hier ist man auch in der Höhe selten allein, Touristen, Wanderer und Mountainbiker in hinreichender Menge. Ein Stück abwärts, abseits des Weges war es gefunden. Genial, inklusive der Vorstellung von ein paar Habichten und Murmeltieren. Dann ging es weiter. In Summe gut 20 km und 2000 Höhenmeter (also rauf und runter). Da der Tag noch nicht vorbei und das Wetter noch toll war, ging ich noch mal am Heidsee vorbei in den Ort Lenzerheide. Überall genoss Groß und Klein die Sonne inkl. Baden. Ein Paar überhaupt nicht scheue Eichhörnchen hatten beim Fressen und Necken ihren Spaß.

fullscreen display using the ⛶ button the map can be maximized to fullscreen display, use the ▢ button to return to page display.

keyboard operation

Keyboard operation becomes available after activating the map using the tab key (the map will show a focus indicator ring).

moving using the arrow keys you can move the map
overview map using the + button in the bottom right of the map you can expand an overview map
zooming in and out using the + and - buttons in the top left of the map or by using the + and - keys you can obtain more or less detail in the map
switching themes or maps clicking on the ≡ icon on the right-hand side of the map you can view and select available maps and themes
retrieving information the map may contain elements that contain more information, using the i key you can activate a cursor that may be moved using the arrow keys, pressing the enter will execute an information retrieval. press the i or the escape key to return to navigation mode
fullscreen display using the ⛶ button the map can be maximized to fullscreen display, use the ▢ button to return to page display.
